Getting banded on 1/27

Hello,

My name is Linda and I am from Los Angeles, Ca. So... I will be getting banded this thursday! Yikes! :blink: Im quite nervous, but I try not to think about it too much! I have started my liquid diet today! Hope everything turns out well. I try not to think about it too much but my whole family and close friends keep on asking me everyday if I am ready for my surgery! :rolleyes: I have no idea what to answer cuz im full of mixed emotions at this point. I am nervouse because of the whole surgery thing. but i am excited cuz i cant wait to start loosing weight!!! Did anyone feel the same way I did just before surgery? I hope im not the only crazy one out there!

Hi Linda!! I think you and I were posting our introductions at the same time. Wow, the 27th is only two days!! I am scheduled for Feb 9th, so I'll be watching to see how things go for you. I feel the same way you do, very nervous, but excited. I am resigned to the fact that this is really the only thing that will work long term for me, and I want to be healthy for my son, so it will all be worth it in the end. Good luck on your surgery, and keep us posted!!
