Native Girl 13 Posted January 23, 2011 Hi Everyone, I am scheduled for the laproscopic lap band on January 31, 2011 @ 8:00 am in Medford, Or. My surgeon is Dr. Mark Eaton, and I am very happy to have him as my surgeon he seems well knowledgeable and makes sure I am well educated about the surgery I have choosen. I am on a full liquid diet and am having a hard time with it right know, I do know it just takes some time to get use to it. Could really us as much feedback and advice as you all can give me. Thank you Dora Hi Dora! The liquid diet before surgery is really really difficult. Although it is really difficult now it is preparing you for the surgery and the weeks after. I know that January 31st seems sooo far away right now but hang in there, it will be here before you know it! I had the surgery on December 21, 2010 and the liquid diet was a great transition to the clear liquid diet immediately after surgery and the weeks after.
