My rings fit!!! At my biggest my ring finger was a size 9... now my size 9's are falling off and my size 7's are PERFECT. Tax return may help re-size those big 'ol rings!

Congrats!! Awesome NSV. I was in a size 8 ring (my class ring) and it hasn't been worn in MONTHS! I miss it as it was my favorite ring but my fingers are now about a size 5. I love it!!

Enjoy your tax return; I always owe, even at 19. <_<

Great NSV!

My rings were an important one for me. I love my wedding rings as much today as I did 25 years ago when I first picked them out. They are just so pretty. :) As I packed on weight over the years I had them sized up (about 10 years after I got married). Then I continued to put on weight and they were too small again, so I stopped wearing them :( . I refused to make them bigger again. After some weight came off with help from the band, I could wear them again and was so happy with this milestone/NSV!:D But now they are too big and I am back to not wearing them :( .

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
