Keia 4 Posted January 18, 2011 Today is my first day back at work. I only ate what I brought (one chicken leg and 1/4 sweet potato) but my shoulders are killing me. I know I didn't over eat...maybe I ate too fast. Argh and ouch! I took a Gas x but nothing happened. So I don't think it's gas. (sigh)
ElishaV 0 Posted January 18, 2011 Hey Keia, I had this same issue too. Actually, every one in a while, I still get this when I eat. If you're shoulders hurt, specifically your left shoulder under the shoulder blade, it's more than likely just gas. This happens a lot in the begining but like I said, I sometimes still have issues with it. Walk. That's the only think I have found that get's rid of the pressure on my shoulders. Walk until you feel better. You probably didn't over eat or eat too fast, it just happens sometimes. There's times when I only eat 4 oz. of chicken and have some broth and I still get the shoulder pain. I wish someone would have told me I would still have this type of pressure months after the surgery. I only expected it right after, not on going. Good luck! reverie 49 Posted January 18, 2011 Walk around; move your arms a bit. Buy some papaya chewables, they help with digestion.
