Big Deal Tomorrow

Recommended Posts

Tomorrow I am going skiing for the first time in 2 years! I am a die hard skiier but stopped skiing 2 years ago due to my size.

I had to get a new ski jacket (an XL for a change!) and the ski pants I used to wear are too big (but will have to do this year!!)

I am so excited. I am only going to get a half day lift ticket so I don't over do it on my first venture back on the mountain.....but I am so so so happy.

Jackie, that's great news. Congratulations! Living where you do and being a skier, it'd be difficult to not feel comfortable on the slopes because of your weight. I hope you have a great time, and next trip you'll get a full day lift ticket instead. Have a blast!

That's awesome. I can't wait to get back to skiing too! I've gone up to the mountains with my family for the past 5 years, but I always hung out on the side - too embarrassed to ski at this size. Maybe next year.....

Skiing was amazing! I took it slow.....stuck to my half day plan........and thoroughly enjoyed myself! It was perfect weather---bright sun, no wind and about 20 degrees.

I packed food.....didn't have any snack shack food. (Greek yogurt, Kashi bar, cheese stick......)

Now I am home, showered, resting......and yes, my legs are sore but it feels so good.

Next year? I will be skinny enough to get new ski gear..........:)

I'm glad you had a good time. I had plans to go skiing next month, I haunt skiied in like 15 years, but another opportunity came up to go to the Bahamas so I chose that instead. I vow to go skiing next year though

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
