cmcafee35 1 Posted January 14, 2011 Hey guys, I have a bizzarre question. Since surgery (December 18th) I feel like I need to brush my teeth all the time. I can feel the plaque build up right after I eat, almost everytime and when I drink milk. Is this normal or happening to anyone else?? I feel like my breath smells bad all the time too, and I really don't want to spend all day chewing gum. Thanks for the feedback in advance! cam Strangely enough I have felt the same way (surgery December 29th) and wondered if it was all the Protein shakes. Sorry I'm no help but know you are not alone! kadoane8 1 Posted January 14, 2011 Me too! I hate it, and after reading about someone getting gum stuck I don't want to chew. And some of the Protein Drinks just make my mouth feel chalky. castillonewsom 0 Posted June 29, 2012 You can stop it for some time but you can't reduce bad breath after this surgery. First do not forget to floss your teeth and Avoid eating too much sweets food in your diet. Sugar can tends to stay between your teeth and cause bad breath for long time.
