krasc001 0 Posted January 14, 2011 So tomorrow the weekend officially starts and I'm a bit bummed. I would like to hang with friends, go to the movies, DO SOMETHING. But now that I think about it, everything seems to involve food. I used to invite friends to Clydes for drinks BUT I CAN'T DRINK YET and I am afriad to get tempted. Does anybody else have this problem. Also, I don't want to stay in the house because, before banding, I used to eat at home due to boredom. I'm a bit frustrated. I guess after all, I do eat to live..trying to change that. Also, any folks in NOVA, need some lap-band buddies!!
ChopswyfT 1 Posted January 14, 2011 Hey there, I am not in NoVa, but I do live in the Hampton Roads area. A few hours from you. I am also in the soft/mushy stage. I know how you feel, I don't hang out or go to bars. But, my family and I usually eat out at least once during the weekend. It's hard, right now because I can't eat regular foods yet. So, for now we have been eating everything at home. If my hubby and the boys really want to eat out, they go without me Just remember, this too shall pass. By February we will be free to come out the house
va_viv 3 Posted January 14, 2011 Hey! I live in NOVA, Lorton area. I can totally understand! My boyfriend and I would go out to eat every Friday and Saturday. During my pre op and post op (right after surgery) stage we held out in going, he was so supportive. Now I'm at a point where I can go out and eat and eat a little and still have that time with him. It'll pass...and quickly. Don't worry. Tons of luck to you!
