B- Nutrisystem Nutricrunch Cereal w/ blueberries, Cup of sugar free Caffe Vienna, = 165 Calories and 13g Protein

L- Nutrisystem Parmesan Pasta w/ Broccoli, slice of cheese and turkey, 1 apple = 372 Calories and 20g Protein

S- 1 pear, 1 slice of cheese = 181 Calories, 9g Protein

D- Nutrisystem

Water: 32oz and still counting

Exercise: 20 min on treadmill

Personal: No eating past 7 pm; no unauthorized snacking.

Calorie:

Protein:

Vitamins / Calcium: YUP

Weight: 239 down 1 lb. WHOO HOO!!!

Jan 19 Thursday

B: coffee and Zone Perfect

L: salad with turkey and boiled egg, nf french dressing

S: cupcake (homemade, in teacher's lounge from PTA)

D: chicken tortilla casserole and green Beans

I WILL NOT EAT ICE CREAM TONIGHT!

Water: 40 oz

vitamins/calcium: yes

I think I've missed the 18th Jan but cant remember now what I ate anyway. But I recall I did a Boot Camp Circuit class that nearly had me vomiting, it was so hard. Am I weird that I got a huge high from that and was on cloud 9 all day. Like, I got through it!

19th January

( had my first fill at 9.30 am a few hours after breakfast)

Breakfast: 2 weetbix with sliced banana and skim milk

Lunch: a very tiny amount of a mushroom chicken Pasta salad and a latte at the pool with Mum and the kids

Dinner: 1 lentil burger with Tomato sauce, a spoonfull of potato salad and some regular garden salad.

Back to the grind !! I did good yesterday :D

L- Grilled ckn on a bun, cheese, sweet tater fries :D

D-Chinese buffet.....:cry

S-chocolate :cry :cry :cry :cry :cry

Water: could be better :)

Personal: no eating past 7 pm

D: Ruth's Chris Steakhouse - 1/2 petite filet, 1/2 c cheesy potatoes, few bites of hubbies creme brulee (yum!)

Hard Rock Cafe - 1 Tokyo Tea

Home - slice of Baskin Robins ice cream cake

Water - good

Saturday 20th Jan

Breakfast: (went out ) eggs Benedict and 2 lattes

Late Afternoon: An orange

Dinner: 1 slice deli roast beef and mixed salad, low fat pesto Mayonnaise

Sunday 21st

Breakfast: oatbran with fruit, with more tinned fruit on top

Lunch: 2 Ryvitas with hummus, Tomato and cheese, 2 apricots

Afternoon: 2 lattes at a lap band forum meet up

Dinner: Cold roast chicken and mixed salad

Sunday spent 1.5 hours at the gym

It was a SCORCHER of a weekend in Melbourne, hence the cold dinners. 43 degrees celcius yesterday!

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
