Ah I have the saggy butt:(

Recommended Posts

Last night I had this sudden realization- I only have ONE pair of jeans that fit me even closely and they are still a little big and leave me with a saggy butt but I don't go out much so I wear em anyway.

Well, I start college next week. EEK. I'm gonna need some new pants before then. I don't want to wear the same pair to class every day but at the same time I don't want to spend much on new ones and I'm really broke after paying my tuition:( Sigh.

Our thrift stores here suck. I've been there several times but rarely find anything. Who makes a good fitting but cheaper jean?

This should be a good time of the year for bargain shopping. After Christmas sales are usually pretty good and get even better a little later.

do you have any girlfriends that you can get clothes from? if not, Walmart and target are great places to look. the clearance rack is always packed with good deals. i am not banded yet but have already started gathering clothes from girlfriends. they are more than willing to clean out their closets. oh, another place is ross. that's my favorite store.

Thatgurl.

Try JCPenney's I went and got new dress pants because I had the saggy butt too. Everything was on super duper sale. I got 6 pants and a cardigan for $100.

If you don't really care what brand, I've found jeans for $10-$20 at marshals or Tj maxx

We don't have Marshall's or TJ maxx here. My friends are either way bigger than me or way, way smaller. LOL We do have one of those Lee factory outlets about 45 minutes away. I'm thinking about trying that.

try freecycle. www.freecycle.org

I just got 7 , yes 7, bags of clothing this past weekend from a freecycler. I pulled out what I wanted and re-freecycled the rest. All I had to spend was the gas to go pick the stuff up.

Surprisingly, you can find jeans at Macy's and Belk's for the same price as Old Navy. But I get my jeans from Ross. JC Penney and Kohl's are great recs. Do you have a thrift store? I'm thinking about going in the next time I drop off my bigger clothes to check out the jeans section.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
