Personally I was not really hungry for the first week. Are you alowed to have Protein Shakes? If you are I would have your broth wait an hour and then have the Protein Shake. By spreading them it helps with the desperation of I am hungry and it is 3 hours before I can hve something else. Also (keeping in mind I am not a doctor) could you have extra broth? After all there is only like 25 cal. per cup.
