Pinkygirl 34 Posted January 8, 2011 I look like a reptile! I drink plenty of Water and my whole body is so flipping dry! Especially my legs and stomach what can I do?
CheckYes 46 Posted January 9, 2011 Me too but for me it is my hands. I'm drinking more than my share of Water but my fingers feel like I've dipped them in talc! I'm just increasing my lotion and rubbing cuticle oil on my fingertips!
reverie 49 Posted January 9, 2011 Same here. I think a combination of winter + weight loss is causing it, but who knows. Try to find a good moisturizing lotion and use it after you shower before drying off.
mattie7632 24 Posted January 9, 2011 That's happening to me too, but I really think it is the weather. If any you have not tried Burt's Bees, give it a try, it's the best for dry skin!
Southern Leo 0 Posted January 9, 2011 Same here....I always had dry skin in winter but this is ongoing I need to get a bottle of avon SOS bath oil and treat myself! I'm on my last bit of lavender massage oil.
nomorejellybelly 77 Posted January 10, 2011 I've had bouts of very, dry skin. For me, it was due to my thyroid levels being off. Very, dry skin can be a sign of low thyroid levels.
honk 780 Posted January 10, 2011 Super dry skin! I don't think the chlorine helps either.
Jess55 97 Posted January 10, 2011 My skin always gets super dry in the winter. It does not help that I constantly washing my hands at work either. O learned last year that Vaseline works really well. I put it on at night and put gloves on my hands and socks on my feet works really well
