Is there anyone else out there that is here in florida over in brevard county? i would love to be able to have a banding buddy close by. I am looking for the Protein shakes that i will have to be drinking....that is what i am really not sure of. 2 weeks of just liquids? NOT!! how did you get thru that part of it? did you cheat? i was thinking of making fruit smoothies, would that be cheating? i am 49 years old and weigh 290, have been overweight most of my adult life. I am not going to do something for myself, i have 2 girls ages 29 and 21, 3 grandkids ages 10, 3, and 2, so I am going to take care of myself at this point in my life thanks and have a great day debby

readytogoforit 172 Posted February 6, 2012 I love Jay Robb whey Protein Shakes. no carbs, stevia instead of sugar, 25 grams of Protein. tastes good, I add unsweetened soy milk for a total of 32 grams of protein, no carbs! I buy it at a Vitamin Shoppe, I know GNC has it too. be careful what you buy some use questionable sugars. medical community attributes belly fat to them. use nothing with sucralose in it. did doc tell you to start taking Vitamins? this is important; good calcium(citrate), Vitamin D (200IU,.)and of course a good multi. start weaning yourself off of caffeine and sodas. start drinking lots of Water, 64 oz each day. would be a good idea to start some sort of exercise. I joined Curves and started walking right away. everything you do now will make the surgical part easier. don't mean to scare you. you will feel so much better if you start right away, that's all.
