brittonswifey 0 Posted January 4, 2011 I finally got through all the evaluations and doctor appointments and finally got my surgery date....january 17th! What does your pre-op diet consist of as my MD has not told me to be on one yet? I see him on the 7th and perhaps that is when they will go over that. Best of luck with everything. I can have juice, gatorade, powerade-limit 2 a day Regular Jello, fruit flavored regular popsicles, or no sugar added fudgsicles- 3 or less a day Milk, light yogurt, cottage cheese-less than 3 servings a day Low carb protien shake-2 servings a day and thats all they have on my list....i hope i can make it!!!! I'm nervous and excited as well. I wrote a stent about the Protein shakes I'm taking and they're really good (in the thread, "what's your favorite pre-op Protein shake). I've not as hungry as I thought I would be and they're sugar free. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I hope these next few days go fast and that your recovery is swift. Hang in there.
