JAMILLAH E 0 Posted January 4, 2011 Hey Guys, Quick question for you, does sleeping on the stomach cause any pain or discomfort the next day? I have slept on my stomach two nights in a row and this morning and yesterday morning, I have felt a sort of soreness around both the large middle incision and the one right to the left of it. If I apply pressure to it, the feelings stops, but as soon as I release, it feels like there is too much weight or something pushing down on the port area or something????? Jess55 97 Posted January 4, 2011 I have been sleeping on my stomach since the day after surgery and my abdomen is a little sore in the morning, but nothing crazy and it usually goes away when I get up.
Jennim89 0 Posted January 4, 2011 I'm 6 days post op and woke up in the middle of the night last night on my stomach! (I'm usually a ONLY a stomach sleeper, so this back business has been difficult!) But I was really nervous that it would cause me more pain, so I tried to stay on my back the rest of the night....I feel fine this morning so I may just let myself get some sleep on my stomach tonight! Hopefully we aren't doing any harm!
beergut 2 Posted January 4, 2011 Odd, I'm 3 weeks post op and have just been barely sleeping on my stomach. My large incision has a bit of hardness under it and it's bit sore from time to time.
