4MyHealth2011 0 Posted January 3, 2011 I have regained two pounds in the past week. I sure hope its just Water weight gain. I went out of town for the holiday. I returned on the 26th and weighed in for the first time in a week and was so happy with my weight loss. Well yesterday I weighed 2 lbs more than I did a week ago. Not good and I want to eat all the time.
CheckYes 46 Posted January 3, 2011 Dont worry! I can eat 500 calories for two days in a row and gain two pounds. I think sometimes hidden sodium does it to me. It will probably be gone in a day or two. Chin up!
kellyodoran 12 Posted January 4, 2011 you are still newly banded......HELLO! "Bandster-hell" until you get a couple more fills, you are in the above mentioned! Keep a journal of everything that goes in your mouth,,,,,,use that calculator to figure out how many calories you can eat a day and loose two pounds a week (by the way....it says 2,000 cal a day for me, but ave. is 1200-1500).....Protien,protien,protien, and exercise...at least 30 min 3 times a week, in the beginning! after that you will want to up it, because it makes you feel really good...yeah it's hard and hurts, but all those happy hormones are really worth hurting for! Hope this helps!
vlp1968 83 Posted January 4, 2011 I wouldn't worry about a 2 pounds gain. I'ts probably just a natural flucuation in weight that happens to everybody. It probably is Water weight. It should come back off now that your home and into your regualar routine. Please don't let it discourage you!
Momto3redheads 18 Posted January 4, 2011 I go up about 3-4 lbs the week prior to my period....so I normally don't worry about anything under 5 lbs as long as I haven't been way crazy with my eating. I do think sodium can definately affect it - make sure you are drinking plenty of Water, too, and getting LOTS of Protein in....you will be fine! Don't let the scale dictate how you feel about yourself - a few lbs isn't anything to fret over. Kim

ElfiePoo 109 Posted January 19, 2011 Not good and I want to eat all the time. But do you want to eat because you're hungry...or just because you want to eat. It's an important thing to be aware of. The band does take away the hunger at some point, but it won't stop you from 'wanting' to eat out of habit. As someone once said, they should probably band the brain too. .
