Lilika 0 Posted January 3, 2011 My name is Maria, I am 26 years old, 5''7 and 295lbs. I have my surgery scheduled for tomorrow at 8:30AM. Im so excited, I have no idea what to expect, and I confess I am a little afraid of not loosing weight, I dont know why I feel like that !!! since I decided to have surgery which was in November 2010, everything worked perfectly, and my insurance approved me on the same day the office sent my info. If anyone looking forward to have surgery and need to know a good insurance to work with feel free to ask and send me a message. Hope to get to sleep tonite !!!! LOL So it only took you 2 months to get the insurance to approve you? My insurance spells out in the explanation of benefits what the criteria is but does not say anything about prerequisties. Lilika 0 Posted January 3, 2011 my first appointment with the doctor was november 14th... I had no insurance back in November.. i was going to be a Self Pay.. and thats when they told me about my insurance company. So... I applied for the insurance and it was effective on December 1st... in December i did all my appointments and they sent my request for surgery for the insurance on December 16th in the morning ... and the doctors office called me at 3pm and told me that i was approved. So they said I was approved and asked me if it was ok to have surgery on January 3rd... I never tough it was going to be easy like that .... Im so happy with my insurance..
