Are you tracking your calories? How many calories are you eating per day?

You really didn't give too much information to what you are eating or if you are working out. So, if you are not working out start and if you are increase the minutes or days or intensity. Drink more Water and cut out high calorie drinks. You may need to decrease your calories. Sometimes small amounts of food can still pack plenty of calories. If you are snacking stop. I didn't lose any weight over 3 months this past summer and it was because I wasn't working out enough, snacking too much, drinking too many calories, and I didn't have the proper fill. You will eventually get to a fill where it helps but until then don't sabotage yourself like I did.

My first fill (5.5 CCs in a 10 CC band) didn't do much either. Later, when I had 7 CCs, then I felt restriction and it was a whole new ball game.

Until you have restriction, try to focus on good nutrition and healthy activity. Hang in there. It gets better!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
