karewpah 173 Posted December 21, 2010 Thanks all. I'm now back at home recovering. The pain isn't so bad at all. The gas makes my chest feel tight but I just move and sip Water. Thanks for all the prayers and warm thoughts!
Kalipso2 25 Posted December 21, 2010 congratulations on working towards your new life! i know you say the pain isn't bad but take my word... use the pain medication as directed! don't let yourself feel a lot of pain before you take the meds!
karewpah 173 Posted December 21, 2010 Oh yes...I will definitely manage the pain. I'm not going to be a martyr here. Will let you know how it goes.
CheckYes 46 Posted December 22, 2010 I didn't need pain meds past day one post op. Once I was off them I felt so much better. Give your body time between each dose to assess whether you need another dose or whether liquid tylenol will so the trick. Sounds like you did well! Welcome to the other side!
