mikki21 1 Posted December 15, 2010 Do you take them? I haven't found any that I actually like so I have been avoiding them. I used to take a prenatal Vitamin before the band because it was easier on my stomach now I don't know what to take. I attempted those chewables YUCK!!! I'm gonna give the Vitamins another try but do any of you know of a small sized vitamin that won't need to be chewed?
LapBandBobbi 8 Posted December 15, 2010 I can't do the chewable one either. I went to GNC and bought an "Active" pack. My problem is two of the pills are so big I can't take them until late afternoon. Nothing worse than getting one stuck!
Jess55 97 Posted December 15, 2010 I ordered the opurity band optimized Vitamins from Unjury. I tried one yesterday and it tasted nasty, so I don't think I am going to use them. I prbably will go back to my adult gummy vitamins.< /p>
FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted December 15, 2010 My doc said to start the adult chewables on Friday which is 8 days after my surgery. I bought the gummies.
va_viv 3 Posted December 15, 2010 I tried the chewable Multivitamin and would gag every time. It was disgusting! I went to Vitamin world and got liquid multi & Calcium. They aren't bad. It's like taking a shot and you're done. You have to keep them refrigerated so it tastes better cold. Good luck!
CalicoskiesNC 2 Posted December 15, 2010 I actually like Flinstones multi. I cut them in half and chew 3 halves thruout the day. I keep a little container in my purse with those, Fiber chew tabs, and Biotin chewables.< /p>
Phranp 46 Posted December 15, 2010 I tried the adult chewables by Centrum and ... well, let's just say the bottle is still full. YUCK! There is a very good liquid viatamin by Balanced Essentials ... pricey and doesn't taste good. I would take it as soon as I got out of bed ... I would stumble to the refrigerator and down it before I could wake up and taste it. LOL But now, I take Vitafusion multiple Vitamins for adults ... they're delicious! And VERY reasonable at Target. Hope you find something that works.
size10again 11 Posted December 16, 2010 One a Day makes a small Vitamin, about the size of an ibuprofen tablet. It is called One a Day Essentials. I buy the store brand, Kroger, at Smith's. It has 100% of the RDA for the B Vitamins and Thiamine. Joan
Twinkles 7 Posted December 16, 2010 I was taking the Flintstones and didn't mind them, however, I recently bought the Bariatric Advantage "Band" kit. The multi's are actually pretty good and has a lot more Vitamins in them then the Flintstones. But all in all, I take Multi Vitamins, Calcium, Vitamin C and Iron, all chewables.< /p>
HeatherinCA 10 Posted December 16, 2010 i'm doing Flinstones, and caltrate D, chewable, and b-12 under the tongue, it's not that bad.. for future reference do the Gummy ones go down ok? I was concerned it might get stuck.

I also take extra Folic acid and Vitamin D, but they are very small and can be swallowed easily.
hah131 7 Posted December 16, 2010 I get mine from www.betterlife.com. They are Adult's chewable Multivitamin, pineapple, and I actually think they taste pretty good. They are dense and not chalky.
