Food question

Recommended Posts

So, before surgery I enjoyed eating sushi. We would go quite often. Now that I have had surgery, I am curious if anyone eats it post op? The only thing I'm concerned about with sushi is the sticky rice. If anyone has tried it, please let me know how it went! Thanks!

Sometimes it's good, sometimes not so good. With bigger pieces I take them apart. It sort of defeats the flavor a bit, but it is still yummy.

I have gotten stuck on it more than once, though. You have to be very careful with it. The seaweed can cause problems as well as the rice, it is hard to chew.

I love sushi too - but I imagine that the rice and seaweed might be a problem -- would try just eating the fish alone first and maybe a small chewed to death bite of rice if you need to taste it.
