honk 780 Posted December 21, 2010 My hospital does not weigh the day of the surgery. The last time I was weighed was at the presurgery testing (bloodwork). I did have a unexpected weigh in at my Nut appointment the otherday. Mid afternoon right after lunch. Grrrr.
tntbelt 1 Posted December 22, 2010 I was weighed in my clothes, then watched a video, then gowned up and went to surgery.
mnmommy07 0 Posted December 22, 2010 I got weighed right before surgery. I had my appt with the surgeon 10 days prior to surgery and was told if my weight was up on surgery day from the day I met with him, they would not do surgery. I guess thats one way to make sure you loose some weight between then and the date of surgery.
BandedJulie 0 Posted December 22, 2010 I had my surgery 2 days ago and was weighed right after I changed into the gown.
WantToLoseBig 0 Posted December 22, 2010 My surgery is tomorrow!!! Really nervous about getting weighed in. I lost 11 lbs on my pre-op diet and got weighed on 12/20. What if the scale at the hospital is different and shows that I have gained weight? I feel sick about it.
mom24teens 0 Posted January 7, 2011 I was not officially weighed, I saw a scale by a counter on my way back from a trip to the restroon and weighed myself. My preop nurse saw me do it, but she didn't even ask what it was.
