Greetings!

I was banded on 12/2/2010. I am so glad I found this forum! I am looking forward to meeting many new, supportive friends. Right now I am nervous, scared, and anxious. I am so excited to begin this next chapter of my life! My surgeon was Dr. Burry and he was incredible. I have my first fill appointment scheduled for 1/6/2011. My weight before surgery was 284 and I am now down to 272!

I decided to have the lap-band to of course lose weight and have a healthier lifestyle. I also did this because I have a 3 yr. old daughter and want to be active with her. I look forward to meeting you all and sharing this journey together!

Congratulations, I was banded on 12/3/2010. I feel the same way you do. I am both excited and nervous about my new lifestyle. How are you feeling physically?
