spoiltmom 44 Posted December 9, 2010 I got another fill Tuesday and I'm now at 6 cc's. So far I've eaten some soft/mushy foods with no problems. Here's my question though when I drink or like this morning after I took my medicine I have a full feeling but it's in my chest and not in my stomach. Does that make sense? It goes down no problem but it's like I can feel it, what I mean is it's not getting stuck but it's like I can feel it. Do you know what I mean? It's hard to describe. LOL But is it just b/c my band is getting tight now?
juliansmom2003 3 Posted December 9, 2010 YESSS!!! That's it!!! Full is different with the band. You will no longer feel it in the stomach. You're feeling restriction. YAAAAAY!!!!
jensmallwood 0 Posted December 9, 2010 Yeah- the stomach is way higher than most people think. Most people think of the stomach as being down by the belly button or below. That's where our intestines are. And the top of the stomach is more like just under the ribcage, at the center of the chest, where it meets the esophagus. It is weird to feel fullness there, but you get used to it!
spoiltmom 44 Posted December 10, 2010 Okay so if I always have a certain amount of fullness in my chest then how do I know when I'm full and when to stop eating? For food I've been eating about a 1/4 cup and then stopping. Last night though I needed my Protein shake. 3/4 of the way through it I started feeling really full and I didn't know if I should finish it or not so I dumped it out. I made it with almond milk so even though it was a liquid it was slightly thick like a milkshake consistency. I just don't want to mess up.
