When I originally saw the dietician, before surgery she said people who stick with seeing a Dietician for more then one or two visits are more sucessful. She suggested seeing her at 3/6/9/12 month intervals. How many have done that or even gone back again after surgery. I was thinking it may be a good idea, so this person can help keep you on track or have someone outside of the 'family' to be accountable to.

Thanks!

Is this dietician also charging you for each of those visits??

Once you know how to eat properly with the band I don't see any need to continue seeing a dietician. If you run into any problems down the road you can arrange to see them then.

I have 6 annual visits with a NUT covered by insurance. I definitely plan on using them. My NUT also gave me her email and allows me to msg anytime with questions. I would go even if I had to pay out of pocket.
