Christmas PB? Post here....

Recommended Posts

I did good Christmas Eve and Christmas. My big problem was the day after. My in-laws were still here. She was giving me grief and I ate to fast and didn't chew well. I hurt so bad. I haven't thrown up since my surgery but I thought I was going to yesterday. Can anyone tell me when you are having a hard time with food why your mouth waters so much you feel like you might drown?

The Water in the mouth is the bodies way of helping the digestion process. If you spit it out it will be slimy (sorry to be gross), that is what we refer to as sliming. It also helps to protect the esophagus, acting as a lube to help get the food down or up. If I am stuck like that and I can't get it up by coughing, I drink a dixie cup of cold water, and whatever is stuck has always come up. It's gross, but better than being in pain. ~Mandy

I did okay...but I was able to eat a little more than expected but I plan on getting a fill next month. I knew that if I put on a couple of pounds it would be okay...not going to freak out about it. The Christmas Cookies were the bomb! And I am looking forward to the liquid enjoyment on New Year's....cheers!

I was so thinking of starting the same thread, ham did it to me too. Did I learn from it...oh not! Had a small bite off the spiral ham leftover, sure enough there it was, ERRR, I wanted that ham reallllly bad.

I give up, anyone want 1/2 a spiral ham that taste really good going down the first time, but not so great the second time, LMAO.
