gotmyeyeontheprize 2 Posted November 25, 2010 I am so sorry for all of the questions, but I am trying to learn how my new band works. My surgery was Monday, so I am still on a liquid diet. Today, I have had 2 Protein drinks, Water, Crystal Light lemonade, about 10 spoon fulls of chicken broth, and a sugar-free popsicle. When I sipped any of the liquids, I would burp. Now, I feel like I am full up to my throat. The lower, larger portion of my stomach is growling. Since I am burping and feel full up to my throat, does this mean my pouch is full? Mariasha 3 Posted November 25, 2010 At this point your feeling of fullness is probably due to swelling from the surgery. It is unlikely that you have real restriction now. The main thing is to listen to your body. If you feel that you are full than stop eating. It takes time to get used to, because we are not used to eating in this manner.
