Banded on Nov. 19

Well after waiting fifteen years I was finally banded on Nov. 19th. Now I am wondering if I made a mistake. I live in Houston and my doctor is one of only a few that actually "fills" the band during surgery. Since surgery I have not been able to get very much down including Water. The gas in my stomach is killing me and the bloating is terrible. When am I going to feel normal again?

Wow, never heard of getting a fill at same time..I would feel bloated too. What is his reason for this? Maybe he could take some out, I would just call and talk to them atleast. Your going to get weak if you cant keep anything down I just got banded on the 17th and am hoping I can maybe do it without the fills, wishful thinking. Good luck!!
