Well so far today just a Protein Shake and a bottle of Water. lunch will be yogurt with kashi granola, crab salad and maybe a few crackers. dinner is leftovers tonight. Will either be enchilada casserole, pork tenderloin or meatloaf. Depends on whatever everyone else grabs before me lol. Will have another Protein shake later this afternoon. Maybe some hot mint tea with splenda later on tonight. Not a very exciting day for food around here. I just wanted to get the leftovers gone and out of the fridge. :(

For Breakfast I had my usual EAS chocolate AdvantEDGE Protein drink and a sugar free Red Bull.

Then I went in for my fill.

For lunch I am having Isopure zero carb grape Protein Drink :)

Water for a snack... then probably another EAS shake for dinner :(

So, liquids only today because of my fill. It feels pretty tight, so I think it will be good once the swelling goes down. :)

Breakfast, I had about 3oz of tilapia filet, prepared with some lemon juice/spices in a foreman grill and 1/4 cup cottage cheese, altho I could only take a bite or two of that.

lunch will probably be an unjury Protein shake and I'll try to eat some vegetables with that.

dinner I'm going to do 3oz grilled chicken with some sauteed squash if I can fit it all in there.

I miss prime rib :( LoL

I'm hangin in there tho! Gotta do this for me and my girls!

your food selection is a good choice minus the steak, i just seem to have problems with digesting steak and hamburger. i would love to keep this forum going because i have problems with food choices and i beleive that is why i am at a stand still with my weight lost

baked chicken has become my best friend. I love to get a piece of boneless skinless chicken, put some lemon pepper on it and throw it in the oven or on the grill. I can eat it like that or put some carribean jerk on it and cook it that way. It is OH SO YUMMY! Put some broc and cheese with it and you have a wonderful meal!:(:)

Happy to know that I am not the only one having problems with hamburger meat. I can eat a piece of it and within minutes, I'm hanging over the toliet bowl crap, just smelling it while it is cooking makes me sick to my stomach now.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
