jingleboob 5 Posted November 17, 2010 OK, don't really try it... but it's working for me! LOL Had one the other day, gums and jaw are still hurting pretty badly, living on Protein shakes and soft foods, but it hurts to chew and I've lost 5 lbs! I don't doubt it will go back on once I can eat and chew, but I've got 2 weeks before they put the rod and cap in place, so I'll be sore through thanksgiving... so I don't have to have my first holiday meal banded quite yet... trishfish 1 Posted November 17, 2010 this makes me laugh cuz I completly agree! I had a root canal AND tooth extraction on day #1 of my two week pre-op diet. that first week was so easy to stay on liquids only because my mouth hurt soooo bad....and I could barely open my mouth enough to even drink! so by the time the two weeks were over my mouth was just to the point of healing.....i joked with my doctor at our support group meeting he should suggest dental work during the preop diet....makes it easier....hahahahah
annieM 2 Posted November 17, 2010 Ouch! I think you won't gain it back. It's just a dieting kickstart. You've been doing great, just keep up the good work and don't "make up for it" once you can eat again. Hmm, maybe I should pretend I had a rootcanal... Nelsonn 0 Posted December 31, 2010 A root canal is the space within the root of a tooth. It is part of a naturally occurring space within a tooth that consists of the pulp chamber (within the coronal part of the tooth), the main canal, and more intricate anatomical branches that may connect the root canals to each other or to the surface of the root.Dentists Mechanicsburg PAwill help you to treat that.
