Princess_Gottalose 1 Posted November 15, 2010 Hey Everyone! I had my second fill a few weeks ago and it was to tight so I had a slight unfill... Once I got the unfill I was doing great! Since Friday it seems my band has a mind of its own!!! I am having trouble keeping solids down... But not all the time... sometimes i can keep it some times i cant.. fluids go down perfectly (so i dont think it is a slip) but i just dont know if when i first pb'd if i should have went on liquids for a while... also (i know TMI) it seems i have had a lot more gas/constipation lately. michellehoeffel 1 Posted November 15, 2010 It sounds like maybe you are not chewing chewing chewing or eating slow enough. If you are able to keep liquids down, you are probably fine. I would suggest to try to be more aware of the size bits and that you are chewing enough. I have noticed at times that when I get stuck, I cannot eat for a few hours after that because for some reason I am swollen. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
vlp1968 83 Posted November 15, 2010 I have experienced the same thing. One day able to eat with no problems, others not able to keep anything down. There were times I almost called to go in for an unfill, but then things got better. Right now I am in a pretty good place, hope it stays that way. I think you are right in that you don't have a slip. Above advice can't hurt, make sure to take small bites and chew well. Also, I have found I can't tolerate bread or Pasta, there might be some foods you just don't tolerate. Pay attention to what your eating that doesn't stay down. Good luck! Princess_Gottalose 1 Posted November 15, 2010 Thanks so much! I really havent drank much lately, and I had no idea that could make the band tighten! Also I just ate dinner and ate it a lot slower with a lot of time between bites and it seems to have stayed... I guess this fill got me to where I need to be!!
