If you are talking Multi Vitamins, I get the flinestone chewables. This is what my doc recommends. I take 2 a day in the morning.

I have been using Centrum chewables from Walmart for a couple of years. Long before surgery.

Humming Bird...I really do get tired of my Viactiv and have been looking to take something different for a change (2 yrs...three caramels a day...bleck...even though they taste good..sooooo need a change).

My question...does the D-3 gummie include all the daily required Vitamins???

I dislike the taste of most chewable vitamins, but my stomach doesn't tolerate swallow-types. Then I happened upon Vita-Fusion Multi Vites, calcium chews and Fiber gummies (have major Constipation since banding). They are freaking delicious. I've never been a Gummy bear fan, but these are amazing. Check them out on Facebook - you'll see how many people rave about them. My last bottle I got was 150 count at Walgreens for $14.99. The Multi-Vites are good enough that my husband is even taking them daily (a huge feat) and the Fiber ones are even better!!!

Good to hear...thanks for the info. Shortly after my post on this thread, I went to Amazon and order The Vita-Fusion brand. Nice to hear they are a nice flavor and easy to eat. I sometimes can pick up the the Vitamin flavor and it turns my tummy.:rolleyes2:

I totally agree - I've tried the generic Gummy ones from Walgreens and they're much harder and have that vitaminy taste to them. Not palatable for me. The Vita-Fusions taste fantastic. You won't be sorry! :rolleyes2: I look forward to Vitamin and fiber time now!

I get my Vitamins and Calcium chewables from

www.unjury.com

They are made for lap band patients or gastric bypass patients and are delicious. They also do not have lots of chinese herbs and stuff in them.

They are very affordable and are wonderful!

I also get my Protein powder here and it is delicious!

Hope this is helpful!

Pam

No, the D-3 gummies only have vit. D. Someone told me that most D vits are D-2 and your body has to then turn it into D-3. I just take the D because my surgeon told me it is the most common one patients are lacking.

I take the Vitafusion fiber gummies (Target) so I stay regular. They taste great and are a very soft gummie that chew up easy and almost melt in your mouth.

If I had insurance I would go get my blood checked to see if I need to take something else. I may have ins. soon through my husband's job...... we'll see.

I dont know about the gummies, but I love Healthy Indulgence Calcium. I think they also have a multi-vit. They are a round chocolate ball. You can eat them like a piece of chocolate or let them melt in your mouth. Delicious!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
