Neddie 0 Posted December 21, 2005 I had my surgery on Friday and was sick from anethesia. I am still not feeling well. Has this happened to anyone? I can swallow with no problem, I do not have a very good appetite though because I am sick to my stomach and not really hungry. Thanks for any help you can give me! NJChick 3 Posted December 22, 2005 I didn't get sick from the anesthesia because in the hospital I told them I would so they gave me a shot so I wouldn't hurl or feel queezy. Lots of folks are not hungry after surgery, I wasn't one of those lucky folks, I was starving from day one lol. Call your doctor and tell him/her how your feeling but in the mean time, keep getting your fluids in. The last thing you need is to get dehydrated. Feel better soon !!! Bensmum1109 0 Posted December 22, 2005 I was so nauseated after my surgery I wanted to DIE. My doctor gave me a prescription for Reglan, which is a very tiny pill. It helped immensely.
