I have read a few articles that doctors are claiming people with diabetes have basically made it disappear with bariatric surgery. Any one here have it and now they don't after surgery?

It is my hope that my type 2 diabetes will go into remission. It really depends on what variety of diabetes you have. I have the insulin resistant variety due to my very high bmi. So in theory, I should be able to reduce my insulin resistance as my bmi reduces. Hopefully getting off of insulin altogether.
