dramastarr 9 Posted November 4, 2010 Ok I got the band on 10/29 and today and yesterday i was hungry. I thought the first week you didn't get hungry. I must admitt I am a pretty fast healer so I don't know if it is mind over matter, but I know my body. I have not broken down and stop with the liquid diet because I want to follow everything by the book and I did not have them cut into me to only fail at weight loss, but I just want to know has anyone else gone through this the fisrt week of healing. Is there something wrong with me? Please respond and help out a future skinny girl.
isaviolinist 11 Posted November 4, 2010 I was so hungry by day 3. Not necessarily for solid food - I was just looking forward to a Protein Shake or slimfast. I think its very normal! Just stick to your diet, even if its hard! Come back to LBT and chat when it gets hard - there are tons of people here who know what you're going through! I read on here that Protein helps, look in the recipe section and there are recipes for the liquid phase, sometimes you just need something different. I have a few times but it is not good for you. . .stalls your weight loss. Hang in there it get so much better. Cheri
anewlife10 0 Posted November 4, 2010 How long does your dr want you to be on a strict liquid diet? It's crazy how every dr has different time periods. I only had to be on pure liquid for one week, then i was able to have a few things (small curd cottage cheese, sf popsicles, sf Jello, light yogurt)... it really helped when i was able to eat a few things... and I still lost 19 lbs so far and it will be 2 weeks tomorrow.
