Dear violin.

I have been drinking it every morning for more than a year and have never had a bad one. Its superexpensive online...find someone who has a membership to get you a box. It onlu comes in choc and I am not a big fan of things hat are flavored chocolate but this just tastes like choc milk...no weird vitaminey or proteiney taste!

I have seen those reviews too and I know Cosco would take it back if there was a prob.I dont suppose you live in California or I would get you some!!

Wow, that is so nice of you! I don't live in Cali, otherwise I would totally take you up on that :wink2: I don't really want to pay for a membership because I have a Sam's club membership. Maybe I will see if we know someone with a membership who can buy a gift card for me (I heard you can shop with a gift card if you're not a member). Anyways, thanks for the info on this new Protein drink! It sounds great and I'm anxious to try it out!

Gah - I actually just gave in and ordered it from the PremierNutrition website lol. I'm anxious to try it out!! It wasn't crazy expensive (28.00 for the case of 18 I think) but the shipping was expensive! Well, I really hope its good and not lumpy or anything (I REALLY hope there are no lumps - I think it would make me throw up :wink2:). If its good, then I'll definitely drink this over the MM.

I like chocolate muscle milk. I just found Monster Milk, with 45 grams of Protein by the same company. Bought some but havent had any yet.

One reason I like MM is that it is lactose free.

However, because of the expense I cannot have even one a day.

I bought a canister of Unjury and like it.

I find I am unable to get enough protein each day unless I have some kind of high Protein Drink.< /p>

I don't like Muscle Milk at all. I rely on one Protein Shake a day to get my required amount. I usually can't eat in the morning because of the band being too tight. I use the Zero Carb Isopure powder (vanilla, dutch chocolate or unflavored). I mix the flavored ones with a little skim milk. Sometimes add a slice of frozen banana or some powdered Peanut Butter and crushed ice and put in blender. If I choose to go the unflavored route, I blend one scoop of unflavored Isopure powder into about 6 ounces of Ruby Red Grapefruit flavored Crystal Light. I have to blend it early and let it sit in the fridge so the foam dies down. After that, I just give it a little shake to mix the undissolved Protein Powder and drink it down.

Yes!! PB2... I love it. I mix it into my shakes... sometimes into plain yogurt... and then sometimes just rehydrate it and use it on whole grain crackers. Great product.

These shakes are great, I have never had a problem with them. They also sell them at Vitamin Shoppe for 24 a case of 12.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
