Boy, this is worst than i thought it would be. besides being banded, they found a hiatal hernia that they repaired. I think that is what i am feeling . cant seem to be able to drink anything, doesnt sound good,doesnt taste good. I need to get some kind of liquid in me, but what? the nurse said there would be extra swelling from the hernia repair , and try to get some Protein down. i am also constantly belching. ugh.....................................:sneaky:

Sorry you are having a hard time. It will get lots better once the swelling goes down. Try to get as much Water and protien shake as possible. You may want to water down the shakes. That has helped me when I have had trouble after a fill. Keep in touch with your doc. and let them know what's going on. Hope you feel better soon.

I was absolutely miserable for 5 days after surgery. I was in a ton of pain and hungry constantly. I never got the restriction that most people talk about. I walked and walked and walked and took Gas X in every form - no relief. So I know how yucky you're probably feeling.

But if it's any help, it DOES get better. By day 7, I was feeling great and almost back to 100% normal.

thanks , i was able to drink some Protein this am and will try some later. It just takes time.
