With the lap band for the people who have had it, what does it mean when you get a fill @ the doctors office after your surgery and what is the purpose of having that done !!! A "fill" is an adjustment, as in "adjustable gastric band." The band is adjusted by way of adding or taking away Fluid from the bladder that encircles the stomach.
