Can you buy Unjury in the store?

Recommended Posts

It seems like you can only buy it online. I have looked in a few stores, and I don't see it anywhere. I am looking for the unflavored and/or chocolate flavor. Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not aware of this product. I'll have a look at the body building store when I go there next. What is it?

I have never seen it in the store, I order online. Even my Dr. who recommends it offers a different brand for purchase in the office. I just order enough for free shipping and don't order again until I deplete my supply. Unlike other Protein powders I've tried it is always consistent in flavor so I prefer it.

unjury is excellent Protein powders in several flavors, and vitamins/supplements sold under a sister brand name (Opurity). www.unjury.com.

And to the OP, I don't think it's sold in stores.

No, only on line. I've tried it & I like EAS-Carb Control better. You can get it in bulk @ Sam's club. This was recommended by my surgeon. Unjury didn't fight the hunger as long as the EAS did.

My dr office sells it but I have ordered online...its cheap and it comes really quick.

Although I like EAS low carb better...Unjury though is good as well, that and Muscle Milk...those are the only three I will drink.

My doctor carries it as does the pharmacy at the hospital where he does the surgery. I order mine online - cheaper than the doctors and the pharmacy.

I just called the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury people and the lady I spoke with was great. I ordered a starter kit that comes with a shaker container, thermometer (apparently crucial since you should not heat it higher than 113°F), and 2 packs of each flavor. It was about $23 with shipping. I think it is a good deal and I am not locked into a Protein that I may not like. She included some Vitamin samples also.

Also, she told me that the people who work there are dietitians. If you get on the phone with someone who happens not to be one, you can ask to be transferred to one.

If the Protein is as good as the phone representative is, then I'll be pretty excited.

It works well for me. I like it. Just be sure to use it cold. Makes the flavor beter, I think.

I go through it so fast - I don;t find it particularly cheap at all! Is it available in BULK? Like for nursing homes or something? I would buy a few pounds of the chicken Soup and the unflavored!

I used the shakes sold at my doctor's office for my pre-op and post-op. Recently it's been difficult to prep with four children but my nutritionist has recommended a pre-made shake called Premier Protein. It has 30 grams of Protein, 1 gram of sugar and only 160 calories and they come in 11-ounce Tetra Pak and they're very filling. The brand that I use for my doctor is called Thorne research Medi Pro Meal Essentials. 30 grams of protein, 7 grams of Fiber, and 210 calories. they're great . They're lactose-free gluten-free wheat-free sucralose &Aspartame free and they're very filling and very delicious they even had a chai tea flavor. I buy the premier Protein Shakes at BJ'S but they only carry chocolate, which is delicious...but I'm already limited with food options so I want variety. You can get all 3 flavors at Sam's or costco. They're great. Sometimes I have a problem with deciding what to eat what or what I'm in the mood for and with my job and 12 hour shifts sometimes I don't have time to sit down and eat let alone chew slowly so I sip on a a shake as a meal.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
