Yes, I want to be more healthy next year than this year and I want to start exercising. I don't necessarily have to be at goal, I just want to feel good :)

I resolve to exercise the minute Dr. Billy allows after my 12-22 surgery, to work on my head hunger issues, and like Scottygyrl, to find a man!!!!! Been divorced three years, I think it's time.....

Well my annual lose weight one is taken care of now, so I guess it's to spend less money and stick to our budget!

Oh, and be tidier and more organised.

Mine includes tidiness in my home and more exercise...I'm thinking about pouncing on Kare for one of her CD's, just in time for New Years, right? It's time to get my butt moving. Yuck. Exercising is like going to church. When you are in the habit of it, you miss it terribly if you skip! But once you get out of the habit, it's sooooo hard to get back into it.

I'm going to resolve to find something nice about everyone I know or am going to meet, even if right now I don't like anything about them. The Quest begins to find something good in everyone and to let them know it.

Mine is to be more healthy, and to exercise and drink more Water......and to find a good man!!

This is mine too !! LOL LOL LOL But I am going to add that I want the exercise part to become such a habit that I actually start to crave it & don't feel good without it to the point that I must do it even if I am exhausted.

I want my exercise to be like a

"Drug Addiction" to me.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
