New journey

So this is my first string. I had surgery on 10/4/10. Luckily I feel great. I have lost 13lbs. Dr Gritsus in Pequannock NJ was my surgeon and did a great job. I start solid foods next week and I am slightly terrified.

I am hoping that this new journey will lead me down the right road of weight loss...finally!

Hey welcome to the adventure!!! I too was banded on Oct 4th. I was so so ready for mushies that I didnt even think about being scared :wink2: although this week with the introduction of chicken and lean meats I've been worried that I will eat too much and not catch myself before I get overstuffed. Still this is a very exciting time and as the pounds are coming off it's just more and more motivating.
