trishfish 1 Posted October 18, 2010 well today I woke up with a horroble sinus infection....and all I wanted to do was lay there and sleep. today was weigh in day so I stripped and stepped on the scale and it read 199.3!!! woohoo! so I preceeded to get on my workout clothes and tennidls shoes and did my normal 2 hour workout. now, I will admit I walked my 30 minutes on the treadmill instead of my normal jog/sprint. as I sit here drinking my hot tea watching trashy reality tv, not feeling well at all...i'm proud of myslef and feel good that I still worked out....and that I'm in ONEDERLAND!!!!
Apples2 19 Posted October 18, 2010 Trish...what a great feeling, huh??? Even though you were feeling crappy you still got your butt in gear. Way to go!
Bella Luna 1 Posted October 18, 2010 That's Awesome! I'm proud of you! I try to find something each day that I'm proud of myself for doing, usually it's as simple as turning down a piece of chocolate. But continuing a 2 hour workout when you're feeling under weather is amazing! Good for you! I miss onederland! I'll move there soon enough!
stateofzen 46 Posted October 19, 2010 That's great! As someone who takes any excuse not to work out, I'm especially proud of you
SmallerChristie 0 Posted October 19, 2010 Way to go! I can't wait to join you in Onederland! Thank you for the inspiration. BTW, I'm not so sure I'd call that a "NSV". It seems like a pretty specific SV!
trishfish 1 Posted October 19, 2010 christie~ i thought of that as soon as i hit post...so it was a mix of NSV and SV...haha thanks for the happiness for me!

BetsyB 9 Posted October 20, 2010 Congratulations! Remember, it's okay to take it easy if you're ill. My rule of thumb is to nix the workouts if the infection travels to my chest; with head stuff, I do it if I am able. (Sinuses can make me dizzy...)
