Ok... so that time of the month is coming up and I'm so FREAKIN' HEAD HUNGRY!! I haven't had a fill yet and don't worry, I'm not going to start eating everything in sight...but MAN! If I could shove a cow into my stomach and get it past the band I would...ok...maybe not.

I think I'll go gnaw on a tree or something...do trees have any Protein? :smile2:

Does chicken make you feel full? I have found that time of the month my band is tighter and I tend to have fabulous restriction. I also fill up fast on high quality Protein, so I cook up chicken breast tenders and cut them up small so I can keep my pouch full.

Damn chocolate is a slider and I could eat that all day long if I didn't have a full feeling from the chicken!

I hate head hunger, so far for me that has been the hardest part!

I suggest lots of protien, Fiber and Water. They should all help with the hunger. Good luck and hang in there. It does get lots better.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
