spoiltmom 44 Posted October 5, 2010 I was banded in August this year and then in September I had a hysterectomy. No problems at all. They did say that my band had to be EMPTIED before they would do surgery though and I had to stay on Phenergan the day of and several days after surgery to prevent any nausea/vomiting.
