stefaniwg 172 Posted October 4, 2010 Tonight I am going to have baked chicken legs (on a rack so that they dont cook in its own fat) and green Beans. Tuesday- Turkey meat loaf w/spinach and yams Wednesday- Chef salad Thursday - parmesan baked tilipia w/broccoli Friday - Turkey burger w/ turkey bacon and avacado on whole wheat whole grain honey sandwich thins. Saturday - chicken enchilada Soup (homemade not from a can) Durning my first few weeks post op I watched the food network all day just to see some good looking food wishing I could eat and to get some ideas once I was able to eat again. stateofzen 46 Posted October 5, 2010 I'm still on soft foods post-op, but I had 3 mushrooms stuffed with a low-carb artichoke jalapeno dip and a tablespoon of fat free cottage cheese to cut the heat. I can't wait to have fish tomorrow. I suck at cooking fish, so even though I like it we never buy it for home, but now that it's about the only meat I'm allowed (at the moment) I'm giving it another try. Lemon Garlic Tilapia Lemon Garlic Tilapia Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cook Time: 30 Minutes Ready In: 40 Minutes Servings: 4 1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.2.Rinse tilapia fillets under cool Water, and pat dry with paper towels.3.Place fillets in baking dish. Pour lemon juice over fillets, then drizzle butter on top. Sprinkle with garlic, parsley, and pepper.4.Bake in preheated oven until the fish is white and flakes when pulled apart with a fork, about 30 minutes Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). I had: -1/2 cup oatmeal real watery with vanilla flavored Protein powder mixed in.(not too bad) -1/2 a small sweet potato baked and pureed in my Ninja food processor with chicken broth and 1 tbsp. of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.(Pretty tasty) sugar free pudding for dessert Anything is better than broth and jello!!
