ethansgrandma 0 Posted December 14, 2005 hi everyone, my name is peggy and i live in chandler. i dont have a banding date scheduled yet, im still in the authorization process. but, both my husband and i are going to have this done we are hoping sometime in february. im so glad i found this site. i know there will be lots of encouragement and information here. we will be going to scottsdale barriatric to have this done. im really excited but still looking for lots of info. anyway, just wanted to say hi. ethansgrandma 0 Posted December 15, 2005 thanks for the warm welcomes. im sure i will be asking alot of questions. please be patient with me. so when they say that it takes a month for the authorization to go thru is that pretty accurate? i just want it to be over with, but i know.....good things come to those who wait. has anyone else been banded by scottsdale barriatric? Butterfly07 0 Posted December 15, 2005 Welcome! I was banded 9/19/05 by Dr. Blackstone @ Scottsdale Bariatrics. Started process in May, the whole staff is wonderful! casinocat74 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Welcome Peggy!!! Let me just tell you that Dr. Daniel Fang from St. Lukes hospital is the best surgeon in the world!!! My experience has been great!! And they got me approved and scheduled in 1 month!! Crazy I know, but true. They also have the best post-op training classes on eating, excersizing, and even a cooking class! It was great. I would reccomend that hospital and that surgeon.
