I am at 6cc in a 10c band,, just got a fill last week.. eating less than i was before the fill but probably still a little too much -- I am doing mostly meats and salads - lettuce tomatoes cukes Until the end of august i was losing a steady 2-3 lb a week.. but not now, ive lose 1lb in the last week. I am not goig to make my goal of 100 gone by my bandversary  Ive lost 87 to date and my year is up on the 13 of oct. Nicole74 4 Posted October 1, 2010 Hang in there..you have done such a great job...when did you really start losing weight? how many weeks months after surgery? BetsyB 9 Posted October 1, 2010 My first recommendation would have been to focus on Protein and nonstarchy veggies--but you're already doing that! Is it possible, do you think, that your rate has simply slowed because you are now at the point where you need to lose less? A pound a week after an 87-pound loss--when you are so close to your goal--may be a realistic expectation. That said, are you exercising regularly? For me, exercise is absolutely critical. I'm at 83 pounds down, and was slowing down a lot---and bumping up my exercise just a bit got things rolling a little faster for me again.
vlp1968 83 Posted October 1, 2010 I second Betsy's plug for excersise. It's just too good a thing not to do it. It's tough to get started, but it becomes second nature. It becomes just part of your day. Start out slow and gradually increase the intensity and/or duration. When I stalled, I increased the speed on the treadmill and the scale started moving again. I lost 107 pounds in about 10 months. You can do it!
Carol-TX 3 Posted November 7, 2010 Wow, that's awesome. I'm not really exercising now before my surgery like I'm supposed to. Just so tired. Maybe it will be easier when I start loosing.
