Had fill Tues.. feeling bit tight?

I believe I was given a little too much of a fill and may call for a slight unfill.

I am having hard time getting/keeping liquids down (day 2 of 2 today)... and it takes forever to finish a bottle of Water since I have to sip.

I also been having quite abit of hiccups. Last night a cuple times in bed, coughing and some liquids coming back up.... didn't taste acidic, though

Should I call in for a slight unfill or ride it out and attempt mushies tomorrow?

I have not had a fill in almost a year... and am at probably 6ccs now ....

I just had a fill myself and have had a bit of a swollen throat which kept liquids from going down as good as they did before. I don't think i'm having as much of a problem as you are, but i waited a few days (staying on liquids) and i can tell my throat is way less swollen than before.

I guess, what i'm trying to say is if you can stand it, and it's not hindering your health in any way, you might think of waiting a day or two more, just in case. I know everyone's usually eager to tell someone to see the doctor right away, but it's really your judgement on this that counts.

You may be too tight, or you may not be used to your band unfilling then filling up again, causing a little discomfort for your stomach / insides. Your swelling may go down, if it doesn't, then i would surely go to the Doc.

To sum up my long-winded rambling, it's your call on this. Ask yourself if it would hurt to go a day or two more just to see if it's only temporary swelling of the esophagus.

Good luck with everything, and hope you get to feeling better soon. I know it can be more annoying than anything.

You will feel tight after a fill - probably up until a week or more. Then it will loosen up a bit. But you should just call and tell them your problem. Hopefully they will suggest something.

Does your doctor make you drink Water before you leave? Whenever I get a fill, my doctor makes me chug a cup of Water so he knows it went down ok.
