findingherself 0 Posted September 20, 2010 So I finally got my date of the surgery Sept 29th 2010 I WAS excited, now i'm worried about every little thing. My husband is beyond supportive. The worrying made me cheat on the liquid diet.I haven't had anything to unhealthy like a nice piece of cheesecake or anything but i have had like beef Jerky, chicken, oh and someday i did have a churro, which made me sick.I'm trying again tomorrow with positive thoughts, i have to find something new and fun to do to keep my mind off of food.My husband being away is another thing that makes me depressed, its so much easier when he's right here,he will be coming home to a new woman in Dec hopefully he's home sooner.Military life.. geez It's great to have somewhere to go and express how i'm really doing instead of pretending i'm always fine My husband wants me to Tape My journey and youtube it but i don't think so... WELL HMM MAYBE LOL ANYWAYS I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING GREAT

hocuspocus 0 Posted September 20, 2010 I too am a cheater. I am supposed to be on Optifast for a week. I lasted 2 days. My mind is now in 'eat what you can before its too late' mode. How sad is that? I am being banded in 3 days. Its not a good start but I guess if I could stick to a diet, I wouldn't need a band. It sounds like you have been a lot better than me. Don't beat yourself up about it. When you get your band things will change. Good luck to you.
