firegirl 0 Posted December 16, 2003 Hello everyone! It is me Zhanna! I have been banded 1 month tomorrow. I am kinda dissapointed with my results since I lost about 12 pounds. I can eat anything nowwith tiny restriction. Of course my portions are 1/2 smaller than I used to eat but I am afraid I am not loosing enough at this time. I am going for my first fill on Jan 7th. Please let me know if it is normal. Also what is good restriction in terms of portions. If you are able to eat chicken breast and some veggies for dinner or lunch is it alot? Thank you for your help! GingerRenayd2 0 Posted December 16, 2003 You are doing fine! They say if you lose 10pounds per month than you are doing what you need to be doing. Make sure you are getting in 70grams of Protein a day and walk. You will still lose! just going to take a little longer.
GeezerSue 7 Posted December 17, 2003 If you haven't had a fill, it is totally normal to have no restriction. A month post-op, no restriction without a fill just means you are healing normally. Good luck! Sue
firegirl 0 Posted December 17, 2003 Thank you for your repplies. I will try not to freak out and wait for my first fill. Zhanna
bobby_hamrick 0 Posted December 18, 2003 We are all different. I am 3 fills out now with 3cc in a 4cc band. I can still eat a sandwich. Red meat gives me to much trouble but everything else is fine. I have dropped 35lbs since August 12. I am losing better a lb a week the way I figure it. Lately I don't think I am but if Ilose 3/4 lb a week I can live with that cause it is going going gone you know.
GeezerSue 7 Posted December 19, 2003 BTW, I got unfilled a couple of weeks ago and, right now, I could eat a woolly (or "wolly," if you prefer) mammoth if I wanted. So glad I'm not quite that insane. Yet.
