The most important aspect in any weight loss exercise program is calorie consumption.Burning calories and increasing your metabolic rate to burn more fat can be achieved with either short sessions of high intensity or with longer sessions of low intensity. low-intensity "fat burning' work outs are usually recommended for people in poorer condition whose fitness level can't support high-intensity work outs. as fitness levels improve,the intensity of the work outs can be increased. this came from a fitness book fitness.
